Joseph Sireno Obituary

Published by Legacy on Feb. 6, 2025.
Joseph Michael Sireno, 92, passed away peacefully on January 31st, 2025 surrounded by family. He was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he spent his early years.
Shortly after marrying the love of his life, Geraldyne "Ger," he left to serve his country in the Army. Upon his return, they settled in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, where they raised their five children and built the foundation of a life filled with love, dedication, and family. In their retirement years, Joe and Gerry moved to Alexandria, spending their days enjoying the beauty of Lake Mary, traveling, fishing, playing cards, and cherishing time with their growing family.
Joe had a great love for dogs and found his greatest joy in spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved when anyone would visit for a conversation, and more often than not, he had a cup of coffee in his hand. His kindness, humor, and warmth left lasting impressions on everyone.
Joe's legacy is carried on by his children: Lyn, Angelo (Joyce), Maria (Mark), Joseph Jr (Nora), and Martina (Robert); 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He is reunited in passing with his beloved wife, Geraldyne; his parents, Lillian "Ma" and Angelo "Pa"; and his siblings, Mary, Virginia, Nick, and Jen.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 8th, from 12-4 PM at Mississippi Crossing Event Center, 307 E. River Parkway, Champlin, MN 55316. Please bring memories to share as we honor Joe's remarkable life.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in his memory.
Joe will be greatly missed by his family.
