Joseph Skaggs Obituary
Joseph Neil Skaggs, 62 of Smiths Grove passed peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at the Hospice House.
The Warren County native was a son of the late Medford and Jeanette Compton Skaggs. He was also preceded in death by a brother and sister. He was a truck driver for Bluegrass Dedicated.
His survivors are his son, Joseph Matthew Skaggs (Becky) and his daughter, Amber Poynter (Cole); two grandchildren, Brooklyn Poynter and Bristol Skaggs; one sister, Judy Dukes (Don); one brother, Rodney Skaggs; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Renita Dunn.
The funeral service will be 12 p.m. Monday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Smiths Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Heart Association, P O Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692
