Joseph Frederick Snell

Joseph Frederick Snell,87, of Greeneville, passed on December 10, 2025. Born March 30,1938, to Richard and Bernice Snell in Union City, IN. He resided in West Carrollton, OH for many years prior to relocating to Tennessee in 2012. Joseph earned a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Accounting while working at General Motors. Retiring from General Motors to join Dayton Tax and Accounting as a Certified Public Accounting partner, practicing with former partner, Gerald Krach, until his second retirement in 2010.

Survivors include: His loving wife, Linda Snell, whom he recently celebrated 25 years of marriage. Children: Joy (Richard) Rushing, Jeff (Sandra) Snell and Jim (Kim) Snell. Grandchildren: Nathanial (Katie) Snell, Dr. Margeaux Snell (Jonathan), RJ (Leah) Rushing, Alexandra Snell (Michael), Meg (Matt) Walters, Ryan Snell and Christy (Tracy)Lane. Great Grandchildren: Olivia, Haley, Dylan, Caitlin, Malachi, Hailey and Hannah. Sister: Linda (Lonnie)Thacker.

Joeseph was proceeded in death by wife and mother of his children, Judith Randall Snell, Brother: Robert Snell and Parents: Richard (Bernice) Snell.

Visitation will be held at Greeneville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, December 20,2025 at 12:00pm with funeral following at 1:00pm. Pastor Andy Blackwelder to officiate. A graveside service will be held at a later date in West Carrollton, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorials or donations may be made to Greeneville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
