Joseph Bernard ("Joe") Snyder, born July 30, 1946, in Los Angeles, died peacefully at his home in Pittsburg, California, on January 11, 2026. He was 79. A Marine Corps Vietnam War veteran, he is survived by his brother Stephen M. Snyder and a large extended family. Services will be held on January 21 in California and January 26 in Iowa where Joe will be buried.
