Joseph A. Squadrito

Joseph A. Squadrito, 79, of Pawtucket, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at the Miriam Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Pauline S. (Gobeille) Squadrito for the past 18 years.
Born in Pawtucket, Joseph was a lifelong resident of the city. He was the son of the late Salvo and Mary (Moskwa) Squadrito. Joseph was a 1968 graduate of Bryant College, where he earned a degree in Accounting for Business.
Mr. Squadrito was employed as an office manager for DL Terminals in Cranston for over 10 years until his retirement. Joe was an avid Yankee fan, a serious debater of politics and sports, always knowing his facts. He had a keen sense of humor and always enjoyed a good laugh. He was also an animal lover, especially fond of his two cats.
In addition to his beloved wife, he leaves his sisters, Carmella Aruda of East Providence and Mary Morin of Pawtucket, his brother James Squadrito and his wife Carol of Pawtucket, and his brother-in-law, Ron Gobeille, and his wife Carol of Pascoag. He was also the uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Anthony Squadrito and Thomas Squadrito.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Joseph's Life Celebration to be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, with Visitation from 10 AM to 11 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A prayer service will be held at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Forever Paws, 300 Lynwood Street, Fall River, MA 02721.
