Joseph "Joe" Garrett Stapleton, 33, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, November 7, 2014, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born June 20, 1981, in Spartanburg, he was the son of Jerry William Stapleton of Spartanburg, and the late Deborah Lynn Garrett. Joe was a member of Hammett Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, wrestling, and his computer. In addition to his father, he is survived by brothers, Jason Eric Stapleton and Matthew Christopher Stapleton, both of Spartanburg; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Stapleton of Spartanburg; and a niece and nephew. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 18, 2014, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Andrew Carrigan. Visitation will follow at the graveside. Floyd's North Church Street Chapel
