Joe was lovely and kind. Never, ever did I hear a harsh word from him. He would often come in to the office to work for Barrington Neighbors, and would slip in so quietly that I didn't know he was there and would get the shock of my life when I finally noticed. I loved how he and Sara would look for one another if they both happened to be on the church campus at the same time. I will miss seeing him cook the hot dogs for Trunk or Treat. In short, a gentle presence who loved the church and the church loved him back. - Erica Valle
