My deepest condolences to the family. On my first day at Gilbert Station, November 7, 1983 Joe Summit was the first guy to approach me in the lunch trailer and welcome me into the Gilbert station Family. He had a great sense of humor! And he was always kind to me in my 36 years at Gilbert Station.
So sad to hear that he has passed away.
So sorry that I was not able to give my condolences in person.
He loved Linda with all his heart!
Blessings to Linda and the family!
My prayers go out to you all.

Dear Linda, Joe, Donna, Jeremy, your spouses & your grandchildren, Our hearts are broken for the loss of Joe. Don & "Moe" had been great friends since high school. Linda, remember when Don & I met, he
told me that if you & Moe didn't like me...I was out! We loved the picnics together, the holidays we shared, watching your children grow into the beautiful adults & the terrific parents that they are, & our FUN vacations together!! There was no better Grandfather, then Joe. You both always lit up around your grandchildren .
No one had a better smile or a twinkle in his eyes then Joe. You are in our thoughts & in our prayers. God Bless You All. All our love, Don & Jackie Natisin

I was very sad to hear of the pasting of Moe! I met him freshman year at P'Burg High! We became good friends and were all through high school. Back then we all went into the military and we lost touch. Years later I saw him playing softball against me and it was like high school all over again! I remember him as a great guy that always said hello pasting in the halls. He will be missed! RIP Moe!

I went to elementary school with Joe but have not been in touch with him since then. I now live in Texas. Here is a photo of our kindergarten class at Shimer Manor school from which we went on to Warren Glen School. Joe is in the second row from the top, fourth from the left in the horizontal striped shirt. Condolences to the Summit family.
