Joseph Tarango Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 3, 2012.
Joseph Domingo Tarango September 4, 1994 - March 3, 2012 Joseph, 17 passed away early Saturday morning in his sleep. Joseph Domingo Tarango was born in Tacoma, Washington on September 4, 1994. He was in his senior year of High School and was excited to be graduating this summer. He worked at Chile Peppers Restaurant as both a cashier and cook for the last couple of years. Joseph enjoyed listening to music, making people laugh, and being around friends and family. Joseph had an amazing passion for drawing. You could always catch him drawing or sketching something for friends or family. He enjoyed pulling pranks and loved challenging his family to extreme food challenges and outrageous physical competitions, just for fun and to get a laugh. He enjoyed summers in Texas where he loved to hunt with his dad. He was excited to get his first riffle and was looking forward to more hunting trips. Joseph is survived by his mother, Michelle Velazquez; father, Dwain Tarango; step father, Tony Ruiz; brothers, Brandon Tarango-Vanpouke, Tristan and Reagan Tarango, and sister Laci Tarango; Grandparents, Ismael and Norma Velazquez, Joe and Mary James; uncles Ismael "Chacho" Velazquez and Daniel Velazquez; cousins Rocket, Eva, and Sky Velazquez. Joseph will be remembered most for his caring and polite manner, his sense of humor and outrageous laugh. Joseph had a heart of gold and did not have a mean bone in his body; he was a big teddy bear. Joseph will be greatly missed but will forever remain in our hearts.
