Joseph C. Tilly

JOSEPH C. TILLY, 80, of Aurora, passed away Tuesday, December 30th, 2025 at the Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital. On November 6, 1945, he was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Joseph Clarence Tilly and Jane Ellen (Huste) Tilly. Joe has lived in Portage County most of his life and retired from Ford after 50 years of service. He was a proud vetern of the US Airforce. Joe was a member of the Aurora American Legion. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, of thirty years, Maureen Elizabeth (Lohmeyer) Tilly, survived by his children Charlie (Dani), Lie, Joey, God daughter Emily Krause and three grandchildren. Both Joe and Maureen shared their love of animals. Joe's hobbies included bowling, fishing, music and woodworking, which he was very good at and his love for music taught him to play the guitar and keyboard well. Joe also enjoyed time spent with friends going to wineries, local festivals and out to eat. Joe will be deeply missed by friends and family. Service will be held at All Saints Cemetery chapel, 480 W. Highland Road., Northfield, Ohio on January 9, 2026 at 11:00 A.M.
