Joe and I were first cousins, Joe was two years older than me and I looked up to Joe as my big brother. In high school we double dated, and enjoyed his 1951 Ford convertible, it seemed like he was always fixing his transmission. We were very close in our early years as young men. I worked with Joe in the construction field building swimming pools in Detroit. Joe was a natural hard and smart man. I always respected his ability for fair play. I always loved Joe as a brother.
