Joseph Virgilio Obituary
On February 21, Joseph Virgilio, 71, passed away at his home. A passionate music and poetry lover, Joseph spent the past several years composing both sacred and secular music for choirs and small ensembles. He also indulged in his favorite pastime, food. He loved nothing more than feeding friends and family. His favorite place was at the head of the dining table surrounded by loved ones.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jodi (Parani), his children, Francesco (Carrie) Virgilio, Katerina (Steve Javins) Virgilio, and Marcello (Melissa Buccine) Virgilio, his beloved grandchildren, Giuseppe, Giovanni, Del, and Lillian Rose, brothers Anthony, and George, and many loving nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Joseph's life is planned for spring.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Joseph's honor.
