Joseph Wilson Obituary
Born in Rowan County on July 17, 1941, he was the son of the late Mary Viola Freeman Wilson and Thomas Theodore Wilson, Sr.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Goldia Faye Gulledge Wilson, who passed away on May 3, 2020; brothers, Thomas T. Wilson, Jr., Giles Ray Wilson (Pauline), and Wallace Luke Wilson; sisters, Hazel Wilson Dorsett (Clyde) and Myrtle Wilson Leonard (Olen); special friend, Peggy Beaver Wilson.
Left to cherish his memory are his sister-in-law, Donna Wilson; nieces, Doreen Lloyd and Sabrina Kelley; grandniece, Misty Dobler; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews and friends, Vernon Bennett, Chuck Lloyd. Cheryl Lippard, Kay Beaver, and Carol O'Brien.
He will be remembered for his kindness to help others and his love of animals.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
