In Loving Memory of Joseph Witczak
Joseph Witczak passed away on February 10, 2026, at the age of 79. He was a cherished father to Stephanie (Jeff) Fitzgerald, Jessica (Nick) Melaszus, and Elizabeth (Brad Bolyard) Witczak, and a proud grandfather. Joseph was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathleen. He is further survived by many dear friends.
Joseph was a proud United States Marine. He made his home in Greendale for over 50 years, where he was an active member of the community.
Visitation will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, located at 6060 W. Loomis Road, Greendale, on Thursday, February 19th. Family and friends are invited to attend between 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. A private interment will take place at a later date at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to organizations that were meaningful to Joseph. Contributions may be directed to the Homeless Veterans Initiative or Fisher House at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center.
