Joseph M. Wolverton

Joseph M. Wolverton, 79, of Lafayette, passed away February 8th after a brief illness. Joe was born October 9th, 1943 to Kathryn and Fred Wolverton in Earl Park. He graduated class of 1962 from Fowler High School. Joe worked at Purdue, General Foods and finished his work career at Eli Lilly.
He is survived by three sisters, Linda (Todd) Daulton Wilkinson, Carol Casey, Karen "Susie" Scheurich all of Lafayette and one brother Richard "Dick" (Janet) Wolverton of Fowler and nieces and nephews: Steve Daulton, Janelle Lah, Eric Wolverton, Brian & Jason Arnold, Mike, Kathy, Karen & Amanda Scheurich & Katie Weiss. Also surviving are several great nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Heath, his parents, nephew, Sergeant Andrew Weiss, brother-in-laws Dr. Manley Scheurich and Dan Casey.
Services will be held at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette Wedneday February 15. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at 2:00 PM.
