Joseph "Joe" Wyatt, 52, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Joe was a devoted father who cherished his children and grandchildren. His love for family extended to his beloved dogs, Bugsy and Kapone. A lifelong supporter of Kentucky Basketball, Joe never wanted to miss a game and brought enthusiasm to every match. He had a deep appreciation for music and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including his passion for cigars and collecting cigar boxes. In his later years, he found solace in his faith, which he held dear until his passing.
Joe was born on December 7, 1972, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Leland Wyatt and Murriel Harvey. He was preceded in death by his father, Leland Ray Wyatt; his mother, Murriel Jimmie Harvey; and his siblings, Carolyn Blake and Ricky Blake.
He is survived by his loving children, Steven J. (Cheyenne) Wyatt, Jessica N. (Robert) Allen, and Megan Davidson; his significant other, Tammy Davidson; and his cherished grandchildren, Ainsley Wyatt, Kol Wyatt, Khia Davidson, Remi Davidson, Maverick Allen, and Lennon Wyatt. Joe also leaves behind siblings Freddy Blake, Billy Blake, David (Marquita) Blake, and Michael (Sharon) Blake, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will forever fondly remember him.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will continue the following day from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 pm on Wednesday at the same location, with burial to follow at Big Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
