I will always rememeber being in the Fine Fare of Long Branch and hearing about the Jackson stores opening. That was over thirty years ago and the rest is history. Joe quickly became one of our best customers and friends from that moment on. As a young kid working in a family business, I learned alot about the business from watching and listening to Joe. He was a remarkable man who was, as one mutual friend commented, "the best operator in the business". I truly believe that. Joe I thank you for all you and your wonderful family have done for me and my family. I thank you for introducing me to the many wonderful people that you brought with you along the way. You and Helen will always be in my thoughts and prayers. May you truly rest in peace dear friend.

So many of my family members worked with Joe - all the way back to Big W ! I had the pleasure of working with Joe at Fine Fare and becoming very good friends with Rosey and her husband Mark- and I am very sad to hear that Joe has left this world. However, I must say for him, I am glad that his tiring fight is done and he is at rest in a beautiful peaceful place. A wonderful person such as he - for sure he is with God in heaven. I will keep all of you in my prayers.
