Josephine "Josie" (Acosta) Bajorek passed away on October 29, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. Born on January 31, 1972, in Dallas, she and her husband Ron moved out of the city where they built a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to their family.
Josie was known for her vibrant spirit—happy, funny, and always in charge. Her family was the center of her world. She shared a devoted marriage with her husband Ronald Bajorek and found immense joy in raising their sons, Noah Bajorek and Luke Bajorek. Her love for them was boundless and evident in every aspect of her life. She also carried deep affection for her daughter Bailey Bajorek, who preceded her in death. The memory of Bailey remained close to Josie’s heart throughout her life.
Josie’s roots ran deep within the Acosta family. She was the beloved daughter of Joseph R. Acosta, Sr., and sister to Joseph R. Acosta, Jr. She held a special place in the lives of her nephew Joseph R. Acosta, III and niece Catherine C. Acosta. Her extended family included many cherished relatives: aunt Susie Acosta; uncles and aunts Gilbert and Kim Acosta, Maria and Glen Ebert, Richard and Dewina Acosta; cousins Jesse Acosta, Jacob Julian Acosta, Austin Acosta, Callie Acosta, Torrie Acosta, Rick Acosta, Andrew Acosta, Amber Dobbs and other family and friends.
She honored the memory of those who went before her: her grandmother Elvira Acosta; grandfather Jose Refugio Acosta; and uncle Jesse Acosta Sr., whose legacies lived on through Josie's enduring love for family traditions.
Josie had a passion for cooking and gardening, two hobbies that reflected her nurturing nature. Whether preparing meals that brought everyone together or tending to plants with care and patience, she found joy in creating beauty and comfort for those around her.
Her presence lit up every room she entered. With a quick wit and infectious laugh, Josie brought warmth to countless lives. Her strength anchored those she loved through both joyful celebrations and difficult times.
May the memory of Josie Bajorek bring comfort to all who knew her and continue to inspire love, resilience, and laughter in their hearts.
