*Celebrating the Life of a Beloved Matriarch*
It is with heartfelt gratitude and joyous remembrance that we announce the passing of Josephine Glover, who departed this life peacefully on September 12, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on January 7, 1943, Josephine graced the world with her infectious spirit and unwavering love. A cherished matriarch of the Glover family, she lived in Butler, Alabama, where she touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Josephine was a dedicated mother to her daughter Alicia and her son Ronald, who will forever hold her memory close. She was adored as a grandmother by Justin, whose life will continue to be inspired by her wisdom and strength. Her legacy also lives on through her beloved nieces and nephews. Josephine was a source of strength and guidance, offering love and support to her family and friends.As we celebrate Josephine's remarkable life, we invite all those who knew and loved her to join us in honoring her memory.
A public viewing will take place at the Butler Chapel AME Church, 713 Desoto Rd, Butler, AL 36904 on September 19, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church, Ararat Rd, on September 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM, where we will gather to share our cherished memories and celebrate her legacy.
Josephine will be laid to rest following the service on September 20, 2025, as we send her off with love and gratitude for the wonderful life she led. We encourage everyone to come together to share stories, laughter, and perhaps a tear as we remember a phenomenal woman whose impact will forever echo in our hearts.
