Josephine Earlene Henderson, a cherished soul known for her loving, caring, and happy demeanor, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on December 10, 1939, Josephine lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and a deep devotion to her family and friends.
Josephine was a beacon of joy in the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her family-oriented spirit shone brightly through her countless acts of kindness and genuine concern for the well-being of others. She cultivated relationships with an open heart, leaving memories that will be lovingly cherished by all.
A series of services will be held to honor Josephine’s remarkable life. Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas on August 29, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. A prayer service will follow that same evening at New Unity Baptist Church beginning at 6:00 PM, where the community will gather to celebrate her life and the impact she had on those around her. A funeral service will take place the following day on August 30, 2025, at New Unity Baptist Church starting at 11:00 AM, providing another opportunity for loved ones to come together in remembrance of this extraordinary woman.
Josephine Earlene Henderson’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her vibrant spirit and the love she shared will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
