Josephine Irene Luhr, 78

Josephine Irene Luhr, 78, of Kellogg, ID, passed away on September 20, 2025 at her home in Kellogg. Josephine was born on November 21, 1946 in Kellogg, ID, a daughter of the late Ren and Jane (Yount) Hone.

Josephine graduated from Kellogg High School. She was a seamstress for many years and enjoyed playing cards, embroidery, outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, John Hone; and two sisters, Rosalie Welch and Phyllis Hone.

Survivors include her two children, Yvonne Luby, and Don Hobbs; five grandchildren, Dominick, Derrick, and Dylan Luby and Athena and Eleny Hobbs; two brothers, Ron and Randy Hone; two sisters, Diane Gravley and Julie Fessler; Josephine's partner, Victor Overman; son-in-law, Shane Luby; and daughter-in-law, Nikola Hobbs.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, 11:00 AM at Shoshone Funeral Services, 106 S. Main St., Kellogg, ID 83837.
