A vibrant and bold personality, Josephine was never one to shy away from expressing her thoughts and feelings. She embraced life with open arms and believed in the power of connection, never meeting a stranger. Her deep love for the Lord shaped her character, and her faith was a guiding force throughout her life. Josephine was a true girly girl who delighted in doing crafts and participated actively in outreach programs. She loved to read the Bible, drawing inspiration and strength from its teachings.
Josephine’s proudest accomplishments were her family, particularly her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She cherished each moment spent with her loved ones, always putting others before herself and ensuring they felt supported and cared for. Her legacy of giving and selflessness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A series of services will be held to honor Josephine's memory at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. Visitation will take place on December 18, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Wake Service at 7:15 PM. The Funeral Service is scheduled for December 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
Josephine Mendoza leaves behind the warmth of her spirit, the strength of her convictions, and the love she cultivated among her family and friends. She will be profoundly missed but her influence will resonate forever in the hearts she touched.
