I also remember the day that Josephine married my cousin George. How beautiful she looked, like she was walking on a cloud. She is always in my prayers. There are many wonderful memories.

Me and my mom were both very sorry to hear about Sweetie's passing. I will always remember Josephine Sweetie Modock as being a loving and positive person. Me, my mom, and dad enjoyed having some great memories of times together including cookouts and meals together with her and her late husband George Modock. We shared some really awesome memories with the whole Modock family and we are blessed and very fortunate to have known such a nice lady and family!

Mrs Modock was my friend and boss. The chair next to the door was always open for me and a beverage offered as she went about her business. We could talk for hours. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, caregiver, bookkeeper, receptionist, homemaker, animal lover and a dear woman that treasured everyone in her world. She'll always have a special place in my heart. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Josephine. She was always upbeat, spunky and the life of the party. I remember going to her house for family reunions and playing volleyball in her pool. Her positive energy will be remembered and missed by all.

I first met Josephine while visiting my Aunt Mary on Hancock Ave. with my parents. She had a wonderful sense of humor, she was absolutely beautiful. I was thrilled when she married my cousin George. How ironic is that I thought about her during a virtual Mass this past week end. Diane and I send our deepest sympathy to her family. May she rest in the loving embrace of Our Lord.
