Josephine Ross Obituary
Jo was born in Sedalia, Missouri on August 10, 1940, a daughter of Nola Irene (Crouch) and Joseph Oscar Smith.
Survivors include her two daughters, Jacqueline Pinnix, of Woodbridge, Virginia, Adrienne Ross, of Dumfries, Virginia; two sons, Charles Ross (Phyllis), of Salina, Kansas, Ahnrique Ross (Lucy), of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; special friend and her daughter, Irene "Rennie" Smithers and Kristi Carter; ex-husband, Henry Ross of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Nola and Joseph Smith; son, Joel Ross; 5 brothers; and 7 sisters.
Jo's wishes were to be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, March 7th at Living Word International Ministries in Salina, with Bishop Stephen and Pastor Margaret Davison officiating.
Donations may be made to Living Word International Ministries, in care of the funeral home.
