Josephine "Sister Catherine" Trtek

I met Sr. Catherine when I delivered Communion at Providence Hospital in Portland, Oregon. We shared a love of cats and the Lord. She was a good friend to me and I loved visiting her. She is missed.

I just noticed the obituary for sister Catherine. She was a dear friend of my mother a teacher colleague Evangeline Eshelman. I´m sorry to have missed the services. She will always be remembered my me as she was a great support during my mothers last years.

Heavenly melodies sounded in Paradise upon her arrival She is beloved by anyone nearby. I studied the piano through her for two years at St. Boniface Grade School in Sublimity. Her Chorus, and an occasional guitar music score was well received in Public Concerts throughout her time in the Stayton area
She was certainly a boost to the students of the newly opened Regis High School in 1963. A Fine Person, Educator, and Christian Woman. C.Mackie
