Josette M. Cunningham

Josette M. Cunningham, age 57 died peacefully on July 4, 2009 at St. John Hospital in Detroit. Josette was born on March 9, 1952 in Detroit. Mrs. Cunningham attended Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti. She was employed as a teacher's aide for special education students at South Lake High School in St. Clair Shores. Her family said she loved her work and was very fond of her students. She also enjoyed photography, gardening and travel. Josette is survived by her husband, Bradd; her daughter Elyse; parents, Lawrence and Lorraine Einheuser; a sister Judith Suter (Richard) and three nieces. Visitation will be on Monday, July 6 from 2-9:00 pm at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. A scripture service will be held at 7:00 pm. Her body will lie instate at St. Joan of Arc Church, 21620 Greater Mack at Overlake, St. Clair Shores from 9:30 am Tuesday until mass at 10:00. Monsignor G. Michael Bugarin will officiate.
