Joshua Scott DuBois, 35, of Perkiomenville, died Monday, January 22, 2024. He was the cherished husband of Bethany J. DuBois and loving father of Waylon Gator DuBois.
Born February 4, 1988 in Lansdale, he was a son of the late Brian DuBois and Lisa (Kratz) Spofford.
As a scholar of North Penn High School and Penn Tech, he was employed as an electrician and a member of the IBEW local 98 union. Joshua had a passion for the outdoors, especially a love of fishing and being on the water. A favorite place of his to visit was the Jersey Shore. He had an endless amount of love for his dogs, Gypsy Rose and Luna.
What set Joshua apart were his unwavering kindness and generosity. He was very much involved in his community and in the lives of everyone he met. As we remember Joshua, we can celebrate the light he brought into the lives of so many and honor his memory by continuing acts of kindness and generosity in the world he leaves behind.
In addition to his wife and son, he is survived by his paternal grand-mother, Roberta DuBois of North Wales; maternal grand-parents, Jeffrey and Marguerite Kratz; siblings, Ryan DuBois of North Wales, Alicia Spofford, Howard M. Spofford, Brooke Spofford all of Lansdale; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Relatives and friends may call between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446. The Funeral Service will follow 2:00 p.m. (same day) at Immanuel Church, 1260 Welsh Road, Lansdale, PA 19446. Burial will be private at Greenlawn Cemetery.
