Marlow: Joshua Matthew Goad, 15, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021 in Marlow.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 20, 5-8:30 PM, and Tuesday, December 21, 8:30-8:30 PM at the funeral home.
Josh was born Saturday, February 8, 2006 in Lawton, to Justin Matthew Goad and Teri Lynn Carter. He had lived in the Bray area all of his life and was a student at Bray High School. Josh always lived life to the fullest and he enjoyed crafts, drawing, and playing video games. He also enjoyed band and music, and was a big fan of Bill Murray, Ghostbusters, and Jurassic Park. Josh always enjoyed making others laugh and was a very loving boy. His sisters and his brother were his best friends in life. Josh loved his family more than words could express and cherished the time he spent with them. His absence will be deeply felt by all of his friends and family, and he will be missed by all.
Survivors include, father, Justin Matthew Goad and wife Rachael of Marlow, mother, Teri Lynn Cooper and husband Christopher of Marlow, brother, Ian Goad, 2 sisters, Grace Cooper and Unity Cooper, all of Marlow, grandparents, Evan and Jeannie Carter, Kathlene Goad, and Tammie Phillips, his great-grandmother, Berdine Carter, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Josh was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Tom Carter.
