Joshua Owen Griffith

Joshua Owen Griffith, age 37, passed away on January 3, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Josh was a devoted and deeply loving father who poured his heart and soul into raising his two cherished children, Abby and Weston. Being their dad was his greatest pride and purpose, and everything he did was rooted in his love for them.

Josh treasured time with family and found peace and joy in the great outdoors. He could often be found riding dirt bikes, fishing, or mountain biking-activities that reflected his adventurous spirit and love for nature. A true hands-on man, Josh loved building, fixing, and working on his Ford truck. He was a hardworking, skilled craftsman who could tear any vehicle apart and put it back together again with pride and precision.

From the age of 16, Josh worked side by side with his father, becoming a master electrician. His strong work ethic, mechanical talent, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever needed were hallmarks of who he was. Josh was the kind of person others could always count on.

He is survived by his beloved children, Abby and Weston; his mother, Sandra Griffith; his father, Mark Griffith; his sister, Jessica Mitchell, and her husband Ethan; along with a large extended family and many friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Slateville Presbyterian Church, 308 Slateville Road, Delta, PA 17314. A funeral service will begin promptly at 12:00 p.m., with interment to follow in the Slateville Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
