Joshua S. Olson, 46, of Moorhead, MN, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025, in his home.
Joshua Scott Olson was born June 23, 1979, the son of Richard and Deborah (Johnson) Olson in Grand Forks, ND. Joshua’s early years were spent in Grand Forks until the age of four, when they relocated to Moorhead where he received his education. Josh then ventured to Minneapolis/St. Paul where he would attend Lineman School, laying the foundation for his career as an electrician.
For numerous years he worked as an electrician in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and in 2015 returned to Moorhead where he continued working in the electrical trade. Josh’s life took on a new meaning in 2018 with the birth of his beloved daughter, Hailey. She truly was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment he spent with her.
To the old saying, Josh was a “Jack of all trades, master of none”, exhibiting a knack for remodeling projects and fixing things that needed attention. In his leisure time, Josh took solace in nature enjoying camping and the serene waters of the lake.
He will be dearly missed by his daughter, Hailey Olson; mother, Deborah Olson; father, Richard (Christie Hanson) Olson; aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and cousin, Theresa Newland.
A Gathering of Family and Friends for Josh will begin at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 19, 2025, followed by a Celebration of His Life at 11:00 AM, in Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service, Moorhead.
