Joshua Martin Obituary

Joshua worked for many years as a self-employed handyman, specializing in home repair and landscaping. He was known for his incredible skill with his hands--whether it was carpentry, landscaping, or building model cars and trains, he excelled at it all. Joshua was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, regardless of his own circumstances.
He loved the outdoors and found joy in camping, hiking, kayaking, and spending time in nature. Above all, Joshua loved his family deeply and cherished every moment with them.
He is survived by his fiancée, LaKota Sells; his children, Kayden and Ellakie; his mother, Christina Martin; his grandmother, Jean Alexander; his siblings, Andrew (Kelli) Suite, Rebecca (Jeff) Reese, Matthew (Jessica) Martin, Amanda (Michael) Nuñez, Allanna Farrell, Kimberly Duncan, Roxanne Farrell, Darci Martin, and Jason (Sherry) Martin; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Martin, as well as his grandparents, Theodore Cline and Merwyn (Lucille) Martin.
A memorial service to celebrate Joshua's life will take place on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Center Chapel Church, 8733 E. 200 S., Marion, IN 46953. Pastor Andrew Suite will be officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
