Joshua Munoz, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on December 20, 2023, at the tender age of 19. His departure has left an indescribable void in the hearts of all who knew him.
Born on October 24, 2004, in Albuquerque, Joshua was a shining beacon of light from the moment he entered this world. Known for his infectious laughter and unwavering kindness, Joshua touched countless lives during his brief time with us.
Joshua's warm and inviting nature drew people towards him effortlessly. He had an incredible ability to make everyone feel seen and heard, comforting them with his empathetic soul. His compassionate heart overflowed with love for others, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. Joshua's genuine care for those around him was truly unparalleled.
Friends held a special place in Joshua's heart as well. His magnetic personality attracted people from all walks of life, and he cherished the relationships he cultivated. Whether it was going on spontaneous road trips or simply savoring quiet moments together, Joshua valued every connection he made.
To honor the memory of Joshua Munoz, a Funeral Service will be held on December 27, 2023, at Trujillo Family Funeral Home in Albuquerque. The service will begin promptly at 1:00 PM and conclude at 3:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to join together to celebrate Joshua's beautiful life and find solace in each other's embrace.
A Mass will follow on December 28, 2023, at San Jose Catholic Church located at 2401 Broadway Blvd SE in Albuquerque. Starting at 12:00 PM and ending at 1:00 PM, this cherished gathering will provide an opportunity for all who loved Joshua to find comfort within their faith.
Joshua will then be laid to rest during an Interment ceremony at Fairview Memorial Park in Albuquerque on the same day. This final act of saying goodbye will take place at 1:30 PM.
Although Joshua's presence in our lives has concluded far too soon, his legacy of love, compassion, and zest for life will forever live on. Let us remember him not with sorrow but with joy as we honor the incredible person he was – a light that touched us all.
We may mourn the loss of Joshua Munoz deeply, but let us also celebrate his life with profound gratitude for having been blessed by his presence. May his spirit forever inspire us to embrace each moment with love and kindness. As we say goodbye to our dear friend today, let us remember him for his warmth, his laughter, and the beautiful soul he shared with the world.
