I met Josh back in the early 2000’s at Walmart and nobody could match his larger than life personality. Josh was a caring person who would give the shirt off of his back if you needed it, and guys like Josh don’t come around often. “Big Josh” will be sorely missed by every single person that knew him, we’ll see each other again brother.

Met you a very few times but saw the smiles conatantly that you placed on Tucker and Chloe's faces. My son Slade and myself lived beside Angela and your two beautiful children and was always a blessing to hear Angela speak of your actions in loving your children and how y'all worked together for them. Rest easy... you will see them again one sweet day.

Josh was truly one of a kind. That phrase gets thrown out a lot but in his younger years he truly was one in a million. We lost touch as we became adults but I have no doubt his continued to be one in a million through out his life. Josh was and will always be considered as a brother to me. From the time we were preteens until adulthood sent us on separate paths we shared a lot of good times. Josh could always liven up a room just by walking in. He could also make everyone laugh even during the darkest of times. The world will be bit dimmer just knowing he is gone but the world is also a better place for the time he was here. I always missed you Josh and I’m sorry I never reached out once our paths went in different directions. To his wife and family that I have never met, I offer my sincere heartfelt condolences. There was and will be no one like you brother. You’re gone too soon but I hope the next leg of your journey is filled with peace and happiness (I’m sure laughter is given with you there). Rest easy brother, you will be missed.

I met Josh many years ago and from that point on he and I were best of friends then he and my daughter fell in love and married, they were childhood sweethearts. I considered him my new son from then on. He was a great protector, of his friends and family, always coming to the aid of his loved ones. Josh was a true friend even after he remarried. I considered him gentle giant of a man and a forever friend of mine and my family. He will always have that special place in my heart and he will be greatly missed until we meet again. Until then I pray that God will protect and watch over his beautiful children, my grandchildren and my daughter Angela, his first wife. Rest in peace my gentle giant, say hello to all our friends up there. May God bless you Josh.

Josh was an amazing guy. We went to Smyrna High together and spent some time outside of school. He was always full of laughter and willing to help anyone at any time.
