Joshua Lee Reinhard, a devoted husband, son, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at the age of 46, in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. Born on February 27, 1978, in Canton, Pennsylvania, Joshua's life was defined by his vibrant spirit, unwavering loyalty, and deep love for those closest to him.
Joshua was known for his warm heart, generous nature, and an ability to light up any room with his infectious smile. Whether he was lending a hand to a friend in need, sharing a laugh with family, or exploring new places, his passion for life and genuine care for others left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.
He was the beloved husband of Melissa Reinhard, cherished son of Martin and Beatrice Reinhard, dear brother of Joanne Shaver, and a loving uncle to his niece, Maggie Shaver. He is also survived by a wide circle of friends and family who will miss him dearly.
An avid athlete, Joshua excelled in both football and wrestling during his high school years, demonstrating determination and leadership on the field and mat. He continued this spirit of service and commitment throughout his adult life, dedicating himself to a long and fulfilling career with the U.S. Coast Guard. Joshua played a vital role in protecting the environment and serving his community with integrity. After his time in the Coast Guard, he continued his career as a Spill Response - Cleanup Manager for Environmental Response companies in the private sector.
Joshua was also an active and valued member of the Elks, Moose Lodge, and American Legion, where he made lasting friendships and supported his community in numerous ways.
In his free time, Joshua enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends, always bringing laughter and joy into their lives. His love for life, sense of humor, and devotion to his loved ones will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held for family and friends on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 10 - 11 a.m. at Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Dr, Canton, PA 17724. A funeral service will follow at 11 with Pastor Charles Thomas officiating. Burial will be in St. Michaels Cemetery.
Joshua's legacy of kindness, loyalty, and service will continue to inspire all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to be part of his life.
Rest in peace, Josh. You will never be forgotten and will always be loved.

To the Reinhard family, I am so sorry for your loss. I had the opportunity to work with Josh for three years in Baltimore and he was a trusted expert. His many years of service helped make our ports safer.
