Joshua David Smith

Mr. Joshua David Smith, 36, born in Newnan, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 28th, 2025, in his home. He was born on August 1, 1989, in Newnan, Georgia. He was born to and survived by Debra Smith and David Smith. He was raised and lived in both Alabama and Georgia for the majority of his life. In addition to his parents, he was survived by his wife, Stormie Smith, and son Jaxon Smith.

Joshua attended East Coweta High School in Newnan, Georgia. He then worked as a landscaper until he eventually found a career he loved and was good at with 3 Tier Construction. For the last several years, he lived with his wife and son in both Griffin and Gay, Georgia. He had a passion for fishing, for the Georgia Bulldogs, but most importantly, he had an overwhelming amount of love for his beautiful son and wife. Josh was someone who could make anyone laugh, and he brought so much light to so many people's lives.

The funeral is December 5th, 2025, at 4:00 PM at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St, Newnan, Georgia, with Pastor Neil Awbrey officiating. Condolences can be expressed at www.mckoon.com.

Survivors include his wife, Stormie Adams Smith, and his son, Jaxon David Smith; his parents, Debra Raye Smith and David Bryan Smith (Susan Ann Smith); his grandparents, Carole Austin, Erskine, and Margaret Smith; and his sister, Kandy Driver. In addition to these, he is also survived by many of his loving aunts, uncles, in-laws, cousins, and friends.
