Josie Rosenberg - Benson, a vibrant spirit filled with love and generosity, passed away on December 12, 2025, in Westminster, Colorado, at the age of 78. Born on November 23, 1947, in Denver, Colorado, Josie lived her life with a warmth that touched everyone she encountered.
Throughout her career, Josie shone brightly in the sales of RVs, where her engaging personality and dedication to her clients made her a beloved figure among colleagues and customers alike. Though retired, she continued to radiate joy and kindness in every aspect of her life.
Josie's true passion lay in spending quality time with her family and friends. She took delight in going out for meals, savoring her favorite Mexican cuisine, and was happiest when surrounded by her loved ones. Her laughter and encouraging words infused her gatherings with joy, and her outgoing nature created an environment where everyone felt valued and cherished.
Known for her selflessness, Josie often exemplified the spirit of giving, ready to offer a helping hand or share whatever she had. Whether it was the last dollar in her wallet or the shirt off her back, her caring heart knew no bounds. Josie's genuine concern for others left a lasting impression, illustrating her unwavering belief in the goodness of humanity.
In addition to her familial bonds, Josie's creative side flourished through her hobbies. She engaged in crafting, creating beautiful birdhouses and dabbling in paint by numbers, while her artistic talent shone through in her jewelry-making. Additionally, she found joy in her aerobics classes, celebrating her vibrant spirit and commitment to staying active.
Her greatest pride, however, came from her grandchildren. Josie cherished every moment spent with her grandson Jesse and granddaughters Stephany and Valentina. She had not yet met her soon to be great-grandson Kamden, but she would have adored him just the same. She created treasured memories with them, embodying the role of a loving matriarch who always offered support and encouragement.
Josie is survived by her son James (Hannah), step-daughters Bernadette (Jesus) and Heather, her brother Jacques, as well as her beloved grandson Anthony and Granddaughter Alexis and great-grandsons Elias and Luka. She joins her late husbands Ed Rosenberg and Doug Benson, along with her parents Bryson and Myrian, who welcomed her with open arms.
As we remember Josie Rosenberg - Benson, we celebrate a life beautifully lived—filled with love, laughter, and countless acts of kindness. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and joy that will continue to brighten the hearts of all who knew her.
