Josif VARAHIDIS Obituary
VARAHIDIS, Josif Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones after a brave battle with cancer on Monday, February 12, 2018. He was the rock of our family and loving husband of 48 years to his wife Stella, who was laid to rest a few months ago. Dedicated father to his son John, who he lost too soon in 1993. Tender-hearted Baba to his daughter Antigoni (Carl), who he was so proud of; and affectionate Papou to his granddaughter and little sidekick Ariahne, who he joked with endlessly. Visitation will be held at Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough, on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 5-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. John's Greek Orthodox Church, 1385 Warden Ave., Scarborough, on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment at Pine Hills Cemetery. Dear Antigone, Carl and Ariahne,
What a wonderful man with a great sense of humour. May he rest in peace with Thia Stella, John and Uncle George and their parents. Our love and prayers are with all of you.
