Jovaughn Hill, affectionately known as JOJO to family and friends, was born on October 27, 2000, to Marketha and Jonathan Hill. Born in Akron, Ohio, and raised in
Columbus, Ohio, Jovaughn graduated from Beechcroft High School. He was a cherished son, caring brother, adored uncle, nephew, grandson, and godfather, whose life was tragically cut short on April 4, 2025.
Jovaughn's life was defined by his exceptional love, compassion, and generosity, which profoundly impacted the lives of all who crossed his path through his kindness and captivating smile. Jovaughn's unique blend of qualities, talents, and achievements left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing him. Jovaughn's ultimate goal was to change the world.
Jovaughn was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Robert and Dean Solomon, Frank and Espy Hill, Mable and Richard Ridgeway, and Walter O Watson Sr., as well as grandparents Dewone Solomon and Jonathan Hill Sr., and niece ShaRyi Bryant.
Jovaughn is survived by his parents, Marketha and Jonathan Hill; his significant other, Sharday Kennedy; his grandparents, Teresa (Ron) Bell; and his siblings, Jzanon Hill Sr, Jzaquiyyah Hill, Dasian Hill, Erika Bryant, Deglagus (Ariana) Solomon, Renee Solomon, Chyanne Hill, Destiney Jones, and Dominique Hollis
He is also survived by his aunts, Sonja (Frank) Everett, Tracie (Sam) McConnell, Claudine Bryant, April Solomon, Carolyn Inman, and Elizabeth Solomon; Uncles Robert Solomon Jr. and Michael Solomon. 10 nephews; 6 nieces; 5 godchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Rest in peace, dear Jovaughn L Hill. Your brilliance will forever leave an indelible mark in our hearts.
