Joy Anderton Obituary
Ms. Anderton passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026 at her residence. She was born July 31, 1968, in Morgan County, to Thomas Jackson Wasson and Opal Louise Burns Wasson.
She lived in Hartselle and was employed by Zaxby's, doing prep work, and loved her job, prior to her passing. She was surrounded by her loved ones as she passed. She was a loving daughter, sister, and Aunt and loved her family dearly, especially her niece and nephews. Her father preceded her in death.
Survivors include
Sister - Sharon Penrod,
Mother - Opal Louise Burns Wasson,
Several nephews and one niece that she loved very much,
Pallbearers will be Mike Penrod, Damien Fillmore, Richard Childers, Rodney Childers and Randy Ball.
