Survivors include her children; Bonnie Miller of Little River, SC, Diana Guidry (Randy) of Cooper City, FL, Robin Floyd (Steve) of Fairmont, NC, Vicki White (David) of Jefferson, GA, Steven Bowden (Carol) of Evans, GA. Sisters, Linda Davis (Ralph) of Atlanta, Audrey Hardin (Gerald) of Elberton. Nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
According to the wishes of Mrs. Bowden, her remains are to be cremated and a family service will be held at a later time.
For those desiring, memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Joy Buck Bowden to the Buford First United Methodist Church, 285 East Main Street, Buford, Georgia. 30515.
