Joy Beth Carroll

CARROLL – Joy Beth (Stover) Carroll, age 56 of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 10, 2025 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, with Dr. Donald M. Walker, Bishop Terry Hart, and Bishop Tom Madden officiating. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park in Lawrenceville. Joy served as the Executive Secretary to the Administrative Bishop at the North Georgia Church of God State Office for 36 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Lewis Stover, Jr. (2022) and Irma Pearl (Richards) Stover (2011). Joy is survived by her loving husband, Rev. Steven Carroll; sister, Pat Gay; sisters-in-law, Janice (Larry) Wright, Sr. and Annette Carroll; stepmother, Melba Stover; stepsister, Miriam (Kevin) Cheek; stepbrother, Mike (Pat) Bloodworth; and several nieces and nephews.
