I MISS YOU MS. HUNTER!!

It is now a little over a year later and I find myself still missing you. You know, I used to visit you on Wednesdays, or anytime. You would have a plate ready for me before I go to Bible Study. I also remember the three layer peach cake that you baked for my birthday. Oh! Jazzy Mama! You are still the number one "fly girl!" Until we meet again.

Moma, How do I say goodbye to you? You have always been the center of my joy....I Love you soo much!!!!
Everythng I've done to this point in my life, I've done with you in mind....how do I complete this journey without? I know in my heart you are still with me, I feel you all around me, holding me up and telling me to keep it together. I was the best daughter I could be, I hope I did not fail you. I know you are happy and at peace with both of your boys Junie on one side and Terence on the other. I will miss your presence but I know I will see you again. I LOVE YOU FOREVER AND A DAY. Grandma, Where do I start? We talked on the phone everyday, at the end of EVERY conversation you would say "Shana, I love you" it had gotten to the point that I would try to beat you saying it, but I never did. You were my strength at some of my weakest times you comforted me at some of my most vulnerable moments. Your wisdom and knowledege will forever be a part of my life. I promised you to watch over "your baby" and I will fulfill that. I will forever miss you.

Thelma sorry to hear about the lost of your mom. I know how much you loved her.
But always remember the good times you shared with her growing up and also remember God has a special garden just for her. And remember Nita will welcome her with open arms and a smile.

Thelma, I knew your mother a very long time. She was a wonderful and gratious person and will be missed by all who loved her.

Thelma, It was only last tuesday when I saw you and you told me that you were spending a lot of time with your mother who was ill, I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Somethings happen so quickly, when we least expect it to. But there is an old hymn I know that says "WE SHALL BE CHANGED FROM MORTAL TO IMMORTALITY IN A TWINKLING OF AN EYE." Where there is life death dwells there also. Thelma, you and your family be strong because earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. This goes for the living as well as the dead!!!

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I was so happy to see you and your mother out just a few months ago.I know i hadn't seem her in about 20 years . Maxine she made me feel so special when you ask her, mama do you know who that is and she just smile and called me my name. She just started talking and laughing with me like she use to do when you and i were teenagers. It was really nice to have been in her company again.She was a very nice and sweet lady . Word can't explain how much I will miss u grandma...U were always there for me....a ear to listen a voice of wisdom. It's hard to beleive that u have passed away. Right now I don't know how I'm gonna make it without u in my life. Growing up I thought you would live forever b/c you was so perfert to me. I wish the tears could bring u back but God had another plan for your life.... YOU will always be in my HEART to the day I see u again Love u 4 ever!!!!

I rejoice with you as we celebrate Ms. Hunter's transition from labor to reward! I will miss seeing her at church. She was one of the sharpest dressing deaconess with such a humble and genuine spirit. Maxx, you and I go way back but I am grateful for the opportunity to have known your mom and to have eaten some of her soul food. She made the best apple cobbler!
