Joyce C. Baldinelli

"Joyce Baldinelli" IRON MOUNTAIN - Joyce C. Baldinelli, 75, of 1220 1/2 Devereaux St., Iron Mountain, died on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital. She was born on Nov. 23, 1928, in Iron Mountain, the daughter of the late Herbert and Augusta (Busse) Waltz. She was a 1946 graduate of Kingsford High School. Joyce was a very active member of First Lutheran Church and had worked as the church janitor, served as church treasurer and spent many years in charge of the church funeral committee. In her younger years, she was an avid golfer and bowler. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing cards, and traveling. Joyce loved spending time with her grandchildren. She leaves her son, Dennis Baldinelli of Kingsford; daughter, Debby (Ehi) Izirein of Ypsilanti, lower Michigan; three grandchildren, Ailohi, Emijoy, and Jesi; two sisters, Joan (Curtis) Oberthaler of Norway and Irma Eisenmann of Sun City, Ariz.; a special friend, Donna Jensen and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sister, Judith Owsley and June Peskey. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon on Friday at the First Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain. Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday at the church. Rev. Peter Jonas will officiate. Burial will be in the Quinnesec Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her memory at First Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain.
