Joyce Bashioum Obituary
Born on September 29, 1953, Joyce was the cherished daughter of the late George and Evelyn Burt. She was the beloved wife of 43 years to Edward Bashioum, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and partnership.
Joyce is survived by her sister, Judy (Dave) Jones, and was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews who will forever remember her warmth, wisdom, and generous spirit.
A proud and dedicated employee of Highmark, Joyce began her career there straight out of high school and remained a loyal part of the company throughout her professional life.
Joyce had a passion for travel and a talent for piano playing. But it was her kind heart that touched the lives of those who knew her. She had a gentle soul, a welcoming smile, and a way of making others feel truly seen and cared for.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A committal service will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery Chapel, 100 Resurrection Rd, Coraopolis, PA 15108.

I worked with Joyce at Highmark for years and we continued our friendship after retirement. She was one of the kindest people I ever met and I will remember and miss her always! It was a blessing to have her in my life.
