Joyce Carol Beck

Joyce Carol Beck, 79, of Fargo, ND passed away peacefully March 27, 2026, surrounded by her family. She lived a full and vibrant life and was loved by her family and many friends.

She was born March 3, 1947, in Park Rapids, MN to Lester and Hannah Davis. Joyce graduated from Park Rapids High School in 1965 and went on to build a life centered around family, hard work and connection. She married Gordon Beck on May 8, 1982, in Bemidji, MN and together they created a home filled with warmth and lasting memories. She worked at Pat Knoer State Farm Agency in Bemidji for over 20 years where she was known for her dedication and friendly spirt. Joyce retired in 2011, leaving behind not just colleagues, but many dear friends.

Joyce had a deep love for her family and found her greatest joy in spending time with them. She especially enjoyed gardening, hosting family get-togethers, and bringing people together. Whether it was a holiday, a casual visit, or a gathering with friends, Joyce had a special way of making everyone feel welcome and cared for.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Dukek, grandchildren Michael (Laura) Fowler, Kristin Dukek, Jackson Fowler and Erica Dukek. She is also survived by her sister Cathy (Jim) Anderson and her cherished great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Hannah Davis; her husband, Gordon Beck; her infant son Todd Fowler, her son Scott Fowler, and her brother Ken Davis.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, April 3, 2026 at Cease Funeral Home in Bemidji, MN.
