Joyce was a dear friend to so many here at CRC.

Summers she walked miles ( barefoot) around campus visiting as she went. Participating in every exercise and swimming program offered here. She grew vegetables in the community garden sharing her produce making sure we ate well. We loved her cookies, breads and cards. She was happiest with Chocolate ice cream.
We did many different crafts together beading, fused glass, pour painting and pottery.
I wish I could have had 1/2 the energy she did.
Joyce did know how to spend time on relaxing on her front porch rocking on her glider reading. We were always welcomed to put up our feet and visit the afternoon away.

Joyce was an exceptionally independent, courageous, and compassionate individual. Her unwavering character has served as a profound source of inspiration for me, guiding me towards personal growth and self-improvement.
She will be missed.
