Bonnes, Joyce E. 11/28/1929 - 8/2/2022 Kalamazoo Joyce Elaine Bonnes passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at the age of 92. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI on November 28, 1929, to the late Roy and Charlotte (Spangler) McClintock. Joyce was united in marriage to John Bonnes Jr. on June 17, 1949, and he preceded her in death in 2007. Joyce was employed at the Kalamazoo Public Library before working alongside her husband John, running Bonnes Electric for 34 years before retiring in 1989. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed gardening in her spare time. Joyce is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Bonnes and Gregory (Lauren) Bonnes; grandsons, Phillip and Ian Bonnes; and sister, Elanor McClintock all of Kalamazoo. Private family services will be held with interment at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
