Joyce Marie Bowen

Joyce was a beautiful, classy woman who never met a stranger. My husband and I had the privilege of spending many evenings with Joyce and Dick and I will always be grateful for their friendship. I know that they are together now and both are at peace. My sincere condolences to their children, grandchildren, and family.

My sincerest and heartfelt condolences to all of the Bowens and Alma and her family. Joyce and Dick were everything that was written about them in their eulogies and then some. I have only the best of memories of the two of them, going back sixty years, if you can believe it. Small consolation now, but it's truly wonderful that they were able to be here as long as they were.

My father left me with a ton of 8 mm film ( and probably photos) that I know has a lot of memorabilia in it pertaining to you guys. If any of it is salvageable, I'll definitely pass it along to you, now that I'm going through a lot of stuff since recently retiring.

Laurie and the entire family, I too have my memories of Joyce Bowen at FHS, always a warm greeting a hello and a smile from one lovely lady!
My heart is broken for all who feels an emptiness but will slowly fill over time with thousands of memories for a remarkable woman. May she Rest In Peace and never be forgotten♥

Dear Laurie Rick and families....I was so shocked and sorry to see your moms obit....I have many fond memories of her and your dad when I was friends with Gene....I would see her from time to time at Shop Rite...LAST TIME WE TALKED FOR ALMOST AN hr...she was simply the best....so very sorry❤

It was with great sorrow that I learned of the untimely passing of my friend and colleague Joyce Bowen. I knew Joyce for many years when I worked with her at Freehold Borough high School. She was a kind, warm, and considerate individual.
