This wonderful woman was my great aunt. Ironically, I only ever met her twice, at the funerals of two of her brothers, but I didn't get a chance to come to hers. My dad and I both remember her as one of the sweetest people in our whole family. At my granddaddy's funeral, she was the first to say hello and give me a hug. Rest in peace, Aunt Joyce Carolyn.

My prayers for comfort during this time. So sorry to hear of another loss of our Kirk family. Joyce Carolyn had just left a message on my mother (Joyce Kirk) on-line obituary in December. It was so sweet of her to remember my mother. I did not know Joyce Carolyn although I may have met her in my younger years. I do remember Kirk family members spreak of her very fondly. May God bless all family members and may Joyce Carolyn rest in peace in the arms Jesus.
