I am very sad that Joyce is gone she was a mother to everyone including myself. Joyce adopted me at 8 years old from Childhelp in California. Unlike anyone else Joyce Marie Bressem was there for all of my 44 years until she died at 80. I distinctly remember my last conversation with her she said she was going to try her best to get me out of the hospital and help me move out of Massachusetts. I love you mom(auntie). I will never forget you because you're the best of us ;)

My sincere condolences to your family. It is hard to isolate just one memory since I have so many going back so far with several generations. My grandmother was the common denominator in those memories with your family...
Joyce was a force to be reconned with, a bold personality imprinting her presence on the world like her crafts unique and thought evoking. I am sorry to hear of her passing but am comforted to know that she will be carried proudly in the hearts of her siblings, children, grandchildren as many others whose lives she touched in positive ways.
Sending much love

Joyce I will always miss you. You were the mother to the family. When you got married I said I was going to tie a string on my toy box and take it to live with you. You always had my back. You stood with me even when I did not deserve it.
